TPL Designs Trakker NAV, Digital Navigation Map
It is announced by TPL Holdings Executive Director Ahsan Sarwar that TPL Holdings has designed and introduced the first-ever comprehensive digital navigation map, with the most accurate orientation for house address searching system for the people of Pakistan.
In the launching ceremony of that newly designed house locator software Trakker NAV, a product of TPL Trakker Ltd, here on Tuesday, Ahsan Sarwar said that with over 800,000 points of interest input into the navigation device, the software has been made as user friendly and localized as possible.
This Software Trakker NAV is premium voice-guided GPS navigation software. It also features the latest and most detailed maps of every part of Pakistan with a vast coverage of more than 100 cities along with the highways all over the country.
That house locator software has been created in collaboration with Sygic, which is the leasing provider of navigation solutions worldwide. According to Sygic, the additions of these key features of the navigation system have all been introduced for the first time in Pakistan.
Ahsan Sarwar said that its main features such as the house address search, took his firm to spent several years to develop with a lot of efforts going into research and development since Pakistan has lacking a comprehensive digital map with street names, plot numbers.
Ahsan Sarwar also said that Pakistan does not have a good postal system and they did not have a digital library of already researched street addresses, area or house numbers. They spent years in going about collecting addresses individually. Furthermore, they sent people abroad for training and asked them to bring the technology into Pakistan.
He further added that other features such as the optimal route calculation, 3D landmark map, toll free number help line service and apps for smartphones were all new to the local market of Pakistan and never introduced before.
